3rd Annual Joining Jina Walk June 20, 2008 - 7PM - Lamoine State Park

The Haslam family is inviting anyone interested to join them in remembering their daughter, Jina, in the 3rd annual “Joining Jina” walk/bike to commemorate the anniversary of her passing. The event will be held on June 20 at the Lamoine State Park at 7 PM.

The procession will start at the parking lot, accompanied by police and fire department escort, and traverse a 2 mile round trip to Lamoine Beach and back to the Park. A brief stop will be made at the memorial site where Jina's accident occurred where flowers may be placed. A bonfire, complete with the fixings for s'mores, and the sharing of fond memories, will wrap up the memorial event.

Prior to the walk, at 6:30 pm, there will be a blessing held at the East Lamoine cemetery for the placement of Jina's headstone. The family invites all of Jina's family and friends to attend.
